That is why we exist. We make leadership research accessible and practical, and translate it into training programs, coaching, and development initiatives for individuals and organizations.
Global Leadership actually began long before Global Leadership existed.
Eva Hyllstam had been working in the field of leadership and leadership development for many years when one of our major clients asked: Is it possible to receive the same leadership training in other parts of the world as in Gothenburg?
It worked out.
From that question, a broader idea emerged. Leaders work across borders, in different cultures, and under varying circumstances, but the need for leadership that fosters participation, accountability, and trust is universal. Global Leadership AB was founded in 2016.
Since then, our operations have continued to evolve. A leadership training program that had been conducted within organizations for many years became an open program, accessible even to leaders who enroll on their own. New partnerships have emerged, and our network of trainers and consultants has changed and evolved along the way.
But the foundation is the same. We believe in leadership that can be applied in the real world. In research without unnecessary theory. In training rather than ready-made answers. And in the idea that good leadership is developed together with others.
After many years in the classroom, we’ve seen the same thing over and over again: leadership consists of many components that must work together.
We want to show how we can make it easier to see how the different parts fit together. Where are we headed? Does everyone know what’s expected of them? How do we work together? And what do we do when circumstances change?
The same issues exist in every organization. What’s needed is a clear direction, people who know what to do, and leadership that gets the group to work together.
That is the foundation of “Profitable Leadership.” It’s a way to make leadership easier to understand, practice, and apply in everyday life.
